Maybe if the INS Officer knew of the video he may come forward to give his version of what was going on. If you listen to the firefighter at the end it sounds like he say's "This is the second time"

This in incorrect. The first tower is down and it is appromiately 10.15am. The second tower imploded 15 minutes later and WTC7 a number of hours later.

I stand by the fact that I recorded this from a program in Australia in 2002. If this is a hoax then where is the original? What sound startles the man on the phone to duck?.
The sound was loud enough for him to be concerned for his safety. Reflect on your own life experiences, which sounds have startled you - were they close to you or far away? This clip alone is not enough to convince the "Magic Bullet Believers". If just one of these men step forward then what they say will be credible.

Don't forget that this was filmed at around 10:15 am, ~13 mins before the second tower collapsed and hours before WTC7.

Forget about head turning, it is the camera that points down West Broadway towards WTC7.
Given the available evidence, where would you suggest the "sound" is coming from?

The sound comes from the direction of WTC7. Your view seems to be that since nothing else can be proved then this video is irrelevant in the study of the events on 911! Doesn't it strike you as strange that in the WTC7 video I posted, that two people comment that WTC7 is about to "Blow Up"?

You acknowledge the time this was filmed but you seem to have a problem with the location.
Look at the report again as it is quite clear that this is filmed near the corner of Murray & West Broadway - 500 ft North of WTC7. The explosion comes from the direction of WTC7 i.e South. Given the sound "startles" those in the clip then it is clear the source of the explosion is near their position. What in your mind is the most logical source location for this explosion?

NIST is investigating a "hypothetical explosion" ocurring between floors 5 & 7 in WTC7.
Given the angle the camera and firefighter look towards then does this appear to be a "Hypothetical".
You know the time this was shot, why don't you ask yourself "Why won't NIST include the emergency radio calls made at this time be included in their report?

The head turning provides us with a direction which is towards WTC7. I beleive that what you hear is a single explosion followed by an echo. Based on this, someone should be able to generate a reference point. Why will NIST entertain the possibility of an explosion between floors 5 & 7
but not follow it up with a thorough investigation? According to NIST, whatever happened between these floors weakend the main support structure of WTC7 and contributed to it's collapse.

PoetryHound, look at the very start of the video and note the number of people wandering around.
It would be reasonable to assume that given this is filmed two blocks north of WTC7 that there would be people wandering around WTC7 at the time this explosion is heard. In a real criminal investigation all the evidence would be reveiwed and would include the radio calls made at the time this was filmed.

My problem is that when I first recorded this clip in Sept 2002 I was sure that I would see it again with some kind of explaination. I waited 4 years and nothing! Until I started looking at the clip closely I did not even realise it was filmed near WTC7. Considering the sound comes from the direction of WTC7 and NIST don't want to know about it suggests this clip is important.
