Va anche detto che i film e i documentari sul volo 93 sono assai più verosimili della versione ufficiale dei fatti.
Di certo sono più credibili, e fondamentalmente più seri, del processo Moussaui.
Abbiamo visto il caso della Olson, quello delle telefonate di cui parla la Burnett, e la solenne panzana della durata della telefonata di Beamer.
Vediamo come al processo viene trattata la telefonata di Cee Cee Lyles, una delle hostess del volo 93.
La trascrizione è testuale (Udienza April 11, 2006 – 1:30 p.m.)
Q. The next caller, please. Who is this caller?
A. This is CeeCee Lyles. She was a flight attendant for 93. She placed two phone calls, one utilizing the airphone from row 32 ABC, and a second she utilized her personal cell phone.
Q. And both of those were to her husband, is that correct?
A. Yes, sir, in Florida.
Q. Okay, we are going to leave that for another witness. If we could move on to the next caller please. Who is this caller, sir?

Le cose non sono affatto così semplici, e per questo episodio è possibile partire da riscontri oggettivi, pienamente recepiti dalla versione ufficiale, senza che questo abbia sollevato il minimo dubbio sul reale andamento dei fatti.

La battaglia per riprendere il controllo dell’aereo è in pieno svolgimento.
La telefonata di Cee Cee Lyles è registrata alle 9:58:00.
Così la riassume il marito, che la riceve:
…when I answered the phone, I said hello -- I looked at the caller ID and seeing that it was her, so I said -- I answered the phone like I normally do, I said, "hello, babe, how are you doing?" And she just said, "babe," -- because that's what we call each other -- she said, "my plane has been hijacked, I'm just calling to let you know that I love you, and -- tell the kids that I love them.
Poi:
…we were just -- she was just telling me that she loved me, tell the kids, and then we said a prayer.
E dopo la preghiera, ancora, dice:
And then, she said that they were -- she said that OK, it's getting ready to happen, and then she said, "they're forcing their way into the cockpit." She was, you know, detailing what was happening, and then she started screaming. Then, she started talking to me, telling me that she loved me, then she started screaming again. Then we got disconnected.
Secondo il marito sono trascorsi due minuti.
Anche non volendo prendere questo dato alla lettera, non esiste nessuna concordanza con la registrazione del cockpit voice recorder.
La scena, a quest’ora, non dovrebbe essere granché dissimile da questa:

con i passeggeri che tentano di fare a pezzi “the little guy” [così è definito il terrorista negli atti del processo] che li teneva a bada, armato di un taglierino e di una finta bomba.
La Lyles, ex-agente di polizia, “a street-smart former police detective”, addestrata al combattimento, che non solo si estrania da quei fatti e non partecipa all’assalto, ma parla al marito come se ciò non stesse succedendo, non è plausibile.
