PAPA: SONO DA RESPINGERE ALLARMISMI SU FINE DEL MONDO
"Nessuno puo' conoscere il momento della venuta del Signore". Lo ricorda Benedetto XVI che citando San Paolo mette "in guardia da ogni allarmismo, quasi che il ritorno di Cristo fosse imminente". Questi "allarmismi" sono ricorrenti nella storia dell'umanita', basta pensare all'angoscia che precedette l'inizio del secondo millennio e, in misura minore, anche quello del terzo. Ma analoghe paure si erano diffuse anche ai tempi di San Paolo. "Gia' allora - spiega il Pontefice - la Chiesa, illuminata dallo Spirito Santo, comprendeva sempre meglio che la vicinanza di Dio non e' una questione di spazio e di tempo, bensi' una questione di amore: l'amore avvicina! Il prossimo Natale - afferma il Papa teologo - verrà a ricordarci questa verita' fondamentale della nostra fede e, dinanzi al Presepe, potremo assaporare la letizia cristiana, contemplando nel neonato Gesu' il volto del Dio che per amore si e' fatto a noi vicino". Invochiamo dunque, e' l'esortazione del Papa nel breve discorso che ha preceduto l'Angelus di oggi "l'intercessione di Maria affinche' Gesu', che nascendo porta agli uomini la benedizione di Dio, sia accolto con amore in tutte le case di Roma e del mondo".
In accordo perfetto con quanto diceva la lettura del giorno di San Paolo ai Tessalonicesi:
"Non spegnete lo spirito. Non disprezzate le profezie"

- Both Hitler and Obama were raised from relative obscurity based upon the publishing of their first books which propelled them to National prominence and the publics consciousness with Hitler’s “My Struggle/My Battle [Mein Kampf]” and Obama’s “The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream”.
- Both Hitler and Obama were preceded to power by ineffective and unpopular governments that nevertheless laid the groundwork for dictatorial rule through numerous laws enacted to prevent “terrorism” and protect the Homeland.
- Both Hitler and Obama campaigned for office using the slogans of “Change” and “Yes We Can” while at the same time having their pasts nearly totally obscured by their National corporate media structures."
