Torno brevemente sulla questione della foto inedita, con rottami di aereo altrettanto inediti, presentata a suo tempo da Henry62 e poi corroborata da uno scambio epistolare con un anonimo corrispondente americano.
La questione si è riproposta dopo un articolo pubblicato da AndreaP. e i successivi commenti.
Ma si tratta di una questione che non sta né in cielo né in terra per una ragione molto semplice.
L’Fbi, che aveva la totale giurisdizione sull’area, e in particolar modo sulla raccolta dei rottami, aveva ufficialmente terminato i suoi lavori il 26 settembre.
A quella data, tutti i rottami erano stati trasferiti nell’area ufficiale di raccolta, ubicata presso il North Parking Lot.
Fosse realmente esistita una mole di rottami di quella portata, e di quella importanza, non si sarebbe mai e poi mai potuta trovare in quel posto, dimenticata dall’Fbi, il 28 settembre, data della fotografia presentata da Henry.
I successivi studi sulla compatibilità, la coerenza ecc., per un documento così campato per aria, così mi sembrano un esercizio precisamente ridicolo.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 26, 2001 – The FBI handed over Pentagon crash site management to the Army Military District of Washington at 7 a.m. today.
The transfer of responsibility marks the end of the FBI's crime scene investigation following the Sept. 11 terrorist attack against the Pentagon. MDW will oversee ongoing security operations around the damaged area of the building. FBI investigators will move their operations to the Pentagon's north parking lot and continue to sift through debris for more evidence.
"We've been overwhelmed by the support provided by the service members, firefighters, police and relief organizations that have worked with us over the last two weeks," said Van A. Harp, assistant director in charge of the FBI Washington Field Office. "Our job would have been more difficult without the selfless service of these brave men and women."
About 10,000 tons of debris have been removed to date during rescue and recovery efforts at the Pentagon. In addition, more than 1,500 men and women assigned to MDW have provided recovery and security assistance.
