Conosco quel video.
L’attendibilità di McGraw è contestata dalla persona stessa che ha fatto quell’intervista.

McGraw states that he got out of his car with his holy water and stole immediately after the attack (within 45 seconds) to administer prayer to the wounded and dying on the scene. There are two issues with this claim.
Navy Times reporter Mark Faram says he witnessed McGraw cross the guardrail with his holy water and stole in "one fluid motion" but he didn't arrive to the scene until 10 minutes later.

E sono riportate le stesse fonti che ho citato.
Nel video, McGraw modifica, anzi, oggettiva, dichiarazioni precedenti, esattamente quelle pubblicate da un sito militare, praticamente ufficiale, e riprese da un sito cattolico, altrettanto ufficiale.
La mia personale impressione è che McGraw nell’intervista si fosse avviato a ripetere, più o meno, la solfa che aveva imparato, appunto con l’aggiunta di qualche cauzione oggettivante [“seems”, “I heard”...]:

seems the plane was so low that hit a light pole that was just on the edge of the highway, on the far side there, before it came over the highway, it clipped this pole...which I heard ended up being knocked over and hitting this taxi...

Finché l’intervistatore lo ha messo sul chi va là, interrompendolo con una serie di domande molto specifiche (e tecnicamente anche molto poco giornalistiche, per non dire propriamente stupide: “Now do you remember wich pole it was, or was it the entire pole itself? The larger part or was it a piece?” ecc. ecc).
Realizzato che si trovava di fronte qualcuno al quale era difficile raccontare frottole, McGraw ha cambiato radicalmente atteggiamento:

I didn't actually see the light pole go over or anything. No I...I believe I later saw the evidence of the pole having been knocked over.... and I think that was just that after the fact saw the evidence. Piece of the piece of the light pole; I think I may have only recalled seeing the top part of the pole so maybe that was the only part that actually got knocked off.

In buona sostanza, un testimone da lasciar perdere, a meno che non si voglia accettare anche la sua conclusione, quando, a domanda: “Hai visto l’aereo entrare nel Pentagono”, risponde “Yes, yes, yes”.
Del resto, basterebbe trasportare la situazione in un processo serio, mettiamo per omicidio.
Ce lo vedete un testimone che dice: “Ho visto tutto” e un altro che dice: “No, sei arrivato 10 minuti dopo il fatto. Ti ho visto arrivare con la stola in una mano e l’acqua santa nell’altra”?
La differenza, in generale, è che per il Pentagono ognuno può dire quello che vuole.
E, in caso di necessità, cavarsela con un “ma sa, ero confuso, ricordo male ecc. ecc.”.
La rassegna di testimoni che va presentando Attivissimo, in questo senso, è esemplare.
Se io affermassi che da via dell’Arcivescovado, a Milano, posso vedere un aereo che entra nella Rinascente mi rinchiuderebbero in manicomio, o in galera.
I testimoni del Pentagono possono dire in pratica la stessa cosa, e finiscono nel catalogo di Attivissimo.
E magari pure in quello di Rivers.
