Questo Mike Walter è diventato molto presto un cavallo di battaglia, se non proprio una specie di mantra, per Attivissimo e tutto “il gruppo di ricerca dell’11 settembre”.
Una specie di asso nella manica, da tirar fuori nelle occasioni di emergenza.
Come capitò durante il memorabile scambio con Rob Balsamo, il quale provò ad Attivissimo e soci come sia difficile parlare di aeronautica, se si ignorano nozioni base come true altitude, pressure altitude ecc. Con il conseguente, clamoroso scaricabarile:

È in casi come questo che si tira fuori Mike Walter.

E così in svariate altre occasioni, fino all’ultima, dalla quale siamo partiti.

Non ci sono soltanto le immagini. Ci sono i testimoni. C'è Mike Walter, giornalista, che ha visto l'impatto con i suoi occhi e ha identificato l'aereo come un jet della American Airlines. E ci sono molti altri testimoni. (21/9/07 20:03)
